REDPATH SUGAR has been a staple in kitchens all across Canada, supporting cooks and bakers nation-wide for more than 160 years. Established in 1854, Redpath Sugar began as a sugar refining company in Montreal, Quebec, founded by John Redpath. The remainder of the 19th century through to the 1950s saw the growing success and expansion of Redpath Sugar's plant to the Redpath Sugar Refinery in Toronto, which still stands as the company's headquarters today. The author lives in Toronto, ON.
