Description

In recent years, the Canadian political scene has transformed into a neo-conservative playground where the truly leftist ideals once held dearly by Canadians are nowhere to be seen. Author and former NDP leadership candidate James Laxer has written a wonderful book that offers Canadians a fresh and determined look at how Canada's left can work to experience a strong revival. In Search of a New Left is a thoroughly researched and thought-provoking look at the Canadian political scene and its possible future.
