Description
What’s Going On at the Time Tonight? is a sweet and rollicking rhyming book about a Newfoundland “time”—a party—with a twist: it’s underwater! The sea lice are boogying, the jiggly jellyfish are riding the wave, and everyone is having a good time tonight.
About the authors
Gerald N. J. Mercer has been an educator in Newfoundland and Labrador for twenty-eight years. He remembers walking to and from school in the fall, filling his pockets with horse chestnuts that had fallen from neighbourhood trees. Although he tried many different ways of preparing them for battle, the oven method seemed to work best. Gerald Mercer lives with his wife, Daphne, and three children, Rebecca, Andrew, and Simeon, in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Holly DeWolf is an illustrator, published author, artist, and blogger. She creates work for the editorial, children's, and stationary markets. She also mentors, promotes the importance of good creative business and illustration advocacy. She currently lives in New Brunswick and illustrates daily, happily!
