Description
Toll of the Sea tells of the communities along Newfoundland's South Coast, often referred to in yesteryear's print as 'The Forgotten Coast.' About the author
Since retiring from the teaching profession, Robert Parsons has devoted much of his time to sharing Newfoundland’s sea-faring history through both the written and the spoken word. He has been called one of the most popular and prolific writers on the subject of Atlantic Canada’s ships and disasters. He is the author is 14 non-fiction books, ranging from Lost at Sea to Born Down By the Water. His work has appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines. He lives in Grand Bank, Newfoundland.
