"If you missed the first edition of this useful and affordable one-volume language tool, which LJ selected as one of the Best Reference Sources for 2004, here's your chance to own a brand new second edition. With over 35,000 entries and 6000 full-color images, the one-volume dictionary provides visual and verbal descriptions of the objects of modern life (e.g., bar stool, MP3 player) in English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. Although not the only such dictionary on the market-DK's The Five Language Dictionary also comes to mind-it is easily the most comprehensive, not to mention the most visually appealing.
