About the authors

Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba and raised in the Rocky Mountain towns of Canmore and Banff, Alberta, Gillian B. Davies grew up in a house full of exotic pets, from cobras to raccoons. These close encounters with animals provide a rich foundation for her writing for children, including the creation of the remarkable Robertson Rat. Gillian B. Davies now lives with her husband and three children and a dog in Courteney, British Columbia. Robertson Rat is her first book
