Description

Based on the bestselling graphic novels, New York Times bestselling author Mariko Tamaki’s Lumberjanes: The Good Egg is the third in this series of illustrated middle-grade novels featuring original action-packed adventures.

Welcome to Miss Qiunzella Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet’s Camp for Hardcore Lady Types. The five scouts of Roanoke cabin—Jo, April, Molly, Mal, and Ripley—love their summers at camp. They get to hang out with their best friends, earn Lumberjane scout badges, annoy their no-nonsense counselor, Jen, and go on supernatural adventures.

That last one? A pretty normal occurrence at Miss Qiunzella’s, where the woods contain endless mysteries. And this visit is no exception! When animal lover Ripley discovers a giant egg in the forest, she’s determined to take care of it until it hatches. But when a group of egg poachers steals the egg for their own collection, Ripley and friends will have to “hatch” a plan to get it back.
