About the author
Geoffrey England is Professor of Labour Relations at the University of Lethbridge. His research interests include industrial relations and labour law. His specialty is in Individual Employment Law. Professor England has taught in the law faculties at the University of Calgary and Queen's University in Canada, and at Cardiff University in Great Britain. In addition, he has worked as a Collective Bargaining Officer with a national Canadian trade union. In 1987–1988 he was visiting Research Fellow at Warwick University, Industrial Relations Research Unit, in Britain; and, during 1994–1995, was Visiting Research Fellow at the Faculty of Law, Dalhousie University.
