Margaret Buckley has worked as an editor and teacher before her current work in libraries. She lives with her husband in New Jersey and Delaware. Ice Cream Town is her first children's book.

Kiersten Eagan is an illustrator and visual development artist based out of Vancouver, Canada. She has illustrated multiple books and worked on a variety of animation projects for television and film. When not in the studio you can find her at the beach, in the mountains or at her favourite ice cream shop.
