About the authors

Kerry Sather is also the author of Bee Yourself (YNWP, 2011), an award-winning children’s book in which the same curious little be learns about self-esteem. She and her husband Doug love living in their hundred-year-old house, and most days find them out in the garden or keeping up with yardwork. She is always thinking up the next journey a little bee might take readers on. Kerry is proud to have been raised in Nokomis, Saskatchewan.

David Mark was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he spent countless hours as a kid drawing pictures and dreaming of building a drafting table under the stairs! He moved to Nokomis in 2004, where he became fast friends with Kerry and her husband Doug. Over the years they have shared a lot of memories together and continue to be close friends. As the illustrator of the award-winning Bee Yourself, David is happy to help Kerry bring young readers another adventure with everyone’s favourite little bee!
