About the authors

Nathasha Pilotte is a Quebec city native who lives in St John, New Brunswick, where she dedicates herself exclusively to her creative work. She likes to watercolor and paint in her studio, under the careful supervision of her cat Luna and pug Chuck. Author and illustrator of Zim s'imagine, Luna n'aime pas and Luna The Cat Doesn't Like That, she also illustrated La bonne idée! with Bouton d'or Acadie. Over the years, Nathasha has become a favorite of book fairs, with her needle felt puppet creations!

Joanie Duguay is from Pointe-Alexandre on Lamèque Island (NB) and has won several prizes for her writing. In 2005, she won the Société Radio-Canada writing contest for her poem “Devenir.? In 2006, she received the Antonine-Maillet?Acadie-Vie literary prize in the Prix volet jeunesse Richelieu for her short story “L?homme à la valise rouge? which was later published in Virages magazine. Her first children's novel, Puce et la mystérieuse coccinelle, was published by Bouton d?or Acadie in 2012.
