VALÉRIE FONTAINE est une auteure-enseignante-maman. Toujours un pied dans l’imaginaire, elle écrit et note du matin au soir. On ne sait pas si elle invente ses drôles d’histoires pendant qu’elle danse en cuisinant, par contre on sait qu’elle dévorerait bien des livres pour souper.

 

VALÉRIE FONTAINE is an author-teacher-mother. Always imagining, she writes and takes notes from morning to night. We don't know if she invents funny stories while she dances and cooks, but we do know that she eats books for dinner.

Depuis plus de quinze ans, MIKA n’a cessé d’écrire et d’illustrer pour les lecteurs jusqu’à 12 ans. For more than fifteen years, MIKA hasn't stopped writing and illustrating for readers up to twelve years old. To date, she's created 160 books for kids, from books for toddlers, to pre-teen novels, to picture books for children. In 2017, she won an illustration award from the Salon du livre de Trois-Rivières for the poetry book Chacun sa fenêtre pour rêver, written by Pierre Labrie and published by Soulières Éditeur.
