About the authors
Évelyne Foëx a fait carrière à l?Université de Moncton où elle a enseigné la langue française. Elle a publié plusieurs nouvelles fantastiques et de science-fiction dans des revues littéraires au Québec et au Nouveau-Brunswick, et a paru dans des ouvrages collectifs. Son recueil de nouvelles, Voyages sans retour... parfois,, a été finaliste aux Prix littéraires Desjardins en 1995. En automne 2004 elle a publié un premier roman aux Éditions La Grande Marée.
Jacinthe Chevalier is an artist who lives, works, gardens and sleeps in Montreal. A graduate of UQAM's Visual and Media Arts program, she paints, carves, sticks, unsticks, cuts, and reuses strange objects, because many beautiful things end up in the bin. She mostly likes to make portraits of imaginary people and funny animals with an uneven amount of legs. Jacinthe Chevalier has illustrated the books Tombent les nuages and Ma maman toute neuve.
