Description

The poetry of Counce Brampton is not a destination but a movement, a ramble through language, leaving a lot of room for alternate understanding. The yoke of clarity is thrown off, allowing the music of words to be heard, the spice of vocabulary to be tasted. These poems are the musings of a singular being who has escaped influence, ambition, and desire. They are a mind speaking in the mode of quiet incantation.

About the author

Counce Brampton was born in Saskatoon in 1966. After a year of journalism at Ryerson University in Toronto, he returned to his hometown. He’s had poems published in Transitions magazine. A quiet observer of life, he enjoys reading and watching movies. This is his first book.
