ROBERTS is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, and Chairman of the Board of Advisors to the Peirce Edition Project. He is the author of Logical Fragments and The Existential Graphs of Charles S. Peirce. JAMES VAN EVRA is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Waterloo, Ontario.
