Description

On May 26, 1991, Barbara Langhorst's father shot and killed her mother, then turned the gun on himself.
Restless White Fields asks: how do you rebuild a life? In this unsentimental collection of poems, Barbara Langhorst revisits personal horrors few of us can imagine, with startling imagery that rends even as it heals.

About the author

Barbara Langhorst was born and educated in Edmonton, Alberta. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Alberta and teaches at St. Peter’s College, SK, where she has had the pleasure of meeting many of Canada’s finest writers.
