Description
Bringing together contributions from over two dozen specialists in the field, this new fourth edition explains how the management process works; the variety of strategies used; the various technical and non-technical considerations that influence decisions; and the tradeoffs that must be made
to accommodate a broad range of legitimate societal interests. As with previous editions, the text is structured in three parts: 'Emerging Concerns', 'Enduring Concerns', and 'Responses'. With updated coverage and seven new chapters on topics such as sustainability assessment, governance for the
environment, and globalization, Resource and Environmental Management, fourth edition, offers a fresh, in-depth approach to resource management reflective of today's environmental concerns.
