About the authors

Ray Guy was born in Come By Chance, Newfoundland, and has enjoyed a colourful career as a journalist, playwright, actor, and satirist. He is a recipient of the Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour for his book, That Far Greater Bay. Ray also won a National Newspaper Award, and in 2001 was awarded an honorary doctorate by Memorial University.
