Description

One patch of denim escapes from a pair of pants and becomes a stained-glass window, an ice-cream truck, a Ferris wheel, a fish tank and many other square surprises in this delightful board book by celebrated paper artist Marthe Jocelyn.

Jocelyn's paper collages in this wordless search-and-find adventure will encourage little ones to look closely at the world around them and explore what they see.

Editorial Reviews

"Jocelyn's collages continue to be alive with colour and textures, and they invite their young viewers to not just locate the repurposed ribbon or patch but to explore the pages' details…Art teachers in schools might want to acquire One Yellow Ribbon and One Patch of Blue to use as exemplars for divergent artistic thinking."

CM: Canadian Review of Materials

&quotThe illustrations are beautifully designed using a variety of cloth and paper to achieve the rich textures and details that are evident on every page…Caregivers and teachers can use this book to promote observation skills in the very young.&quot
