Description
A friendly character living in a forest in a cabin in a tree learns about mythical creatures in books. He figures he should go look for these creatures since no one seems to have found them. As he searches for them, he is disappointed that he can’t appear to find any. The creatures are there for the reader to see but escape the view of the seeker. A wonderful story of loneliness and friendship in odd places. Creatures in books do not always exist but they do reside in our imagination.
About the authors
Daniel Anctil has a BA from UVic and has always wanted to write children's books. He is fascinated with the arts of storytelling and word smithing. This is his second book. He lives in Vancouver.
Corentin Hunter is an everyday storyteller. Born in a family of artists, he studied animation at the Cegep du Vieux Montréal and is now a freelance artist juggling children's illustrations and commercial animation. Even a hundred lives would never satisfy his appetite for creation. A day without creating is like an empty plate for supper and an empty pint with friends!
