About the author

Katherine Arnup is an historian and Associate Professor in the School of Canadian Studies at Carleton University. A lesbian mother herself, she has published widely on the subjects of Lesbian Parenting and reproductive rights for women. She is the award-winning author of Education of Motherhood (University of Toronto Press) and the co-editor of Delivering Motherhood (Routledge).
