Déterminée, audacieuse, colorée, Joyce Wieland a été la première femme artiste à exposer en solo de son vivant au Musée des beaux-arts du Canada et au Musée des beaux-arts de l’Ontario. Grande figure du cinéma d’avant-garde dans les années 1960 et 1970, elle a, avec Michael Snow, mis au monde le cinéma expérimental canadien. Anne Grace is Curator of Modern Art at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Her past curatorial exhibition projects at the MMFA include Peintures barbares : hommage à Jean McEwen, Alexander Calder: Radical Inventor, In Memorium: Antoni Tàpies, Multiplicity: Post-War American Prints and Drawings from the Collection, and Van Dongen: Painting the Town Fauve. She has also been the curator responsible for the presentations at the MMFA of Lyonel Feininger: From Manhattan to the Bauhaus, Rouge Cabaret: The Terrifying and Beautiful World of Otto Dix, and From Van Gogh to Kandinsky: Expressionism in Germany and France, 1900-1914. Previous to her position at the MMFA, she worked at the National Gallery of Canada.

Georgiana Uhlyarik is the curator of Jinny Yu: AT ONCE (2024). She is Fredrik S. Eaton Curator, Canadian Art, and co-lead of the Indigenous + Canadian Art Department, Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, Canada. She works collaboratively with artists and curators from across the Americas and Europe. Projects include: Moving the Museum: Indigenous + Canadian Art at the AGO (2023); Magnetic North: Imagining Canada in Painting 1910-1940 (Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, 2021); Tunirrusiangit: Kenojuak Ashevak and Tim Pitsiulak (2018); Rita Letendre: Fire & Light (2017); Georgia O’Keeffe (Tate Modern, 2017); and Florine Stettheimer: Painting Poetry (Jewish Museum, NY, 2017). Uhlyarik is adjunct faculty in Art History at York University and University of Toronto.
