Description

Almost everyone is affected by divorce, child-rearing and support andby the changing structure of the family in our society. But how many understand the issues and problems involved around custody of children when families split up? What is fair and best for the child? In this compelling expose, the author of three previous books, journalist and lecturer Susan Crean, examines the controversial phenomenon of "father's rights" and mandatory joint custody.
In the Name of the Fathers provides indisputable evidence that much that is claimed as just and equitable "in the name of the fathers" is in reality concerned more with power than with the welfare of the children involved.
