Description

The stories in this collection explore the process of individual journeys between these categories: Love that isolates and love that redeems, reconciliation with the self and others, the death of innocence, betrayal by the natural and human worlds, salvation through the transcendent.

About the author

Susan Rendell is a freelance writer and editor living in a pumpkin-colored row house in down town St. John’s with her daughter and five cats.  The cats say she is welcomed to stay as long as she likes, provided the weekly tins of tuna keep arriving in the usual quantities. Her daughter thinks her mother is old enough to find a place of her own. In the Chambers of the Sea is Susan's first book.
