About the authors

Don Artz worked for the Halifax Transit Corporation (later Metro Transit), where he became chief inspector. His life-long love of Halifax’s tram cars led him to begin research for this book. Don lives in Enfield, Nova Scotia.

Don Cunningham worked for Veterans Affairs for 35 years, retiring in 1995. He has been involved in restoring antique cars, motorcycles, and furniture as well as collecting photos and history of Halifax for as long as he can remember. He lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
