Description
While Devin and Nadia spend summer vacation at a university camp for little kids Nadia as a counselor and Devin as an unwilling participant—their mother's research project is vandalized and her motives are questioned.

Food Fight: A Graphic Guide Adventure
In this graphic novel, Devin is stuck at a summer camp run by his older sister Nadia. His mother, Dr. Chang, is working on ways to conserve water to benefit farmers in drier climates. Someone is out to discredit Dr. Chang’s work and Devin and his friends have to find the saboteurs. With their help Devin learns that the food on our table may not be as good for us or the environment as it should be. He learns about food origins and organic farming and gains a new appreciation for the food he consumes. Eventually, the culprits are uncovered and stopped. Students are introduced to the environmental impact of current farming practices and the alternative of organic farming.Graphic Guide Adventures is a new graphic novel series combining comic book action with graphic teaching guides.
