“A perfect read for preschoolers who can learn from Chicken and Horse how to be better friends. Highly Recommended.”

CM Reviews, 11/10

“Ohi captures the complexity of emotions inherent in relationships . . . She does this with such sensitivity that her stories never feel moralistic or pedantic. Highly recommended.”

Chicken, Pig, Cow Horse Around (A Ruth Ohi Picture Book)

It’s always been just Chicken, Pig and Cow until one day Horse arrives. Pig thinks Horse is clever, Cow thinks Horse is strong but Chicken thinks Horse just takes up space. When Chicken plays a trick on Horse, it backfires, and the four friends must find a way out of their predicament. Ruth Ohi’s vibrant watercolours will charm young audiences.
