Description

Afraid of the Dark is a touching account of a young boy who masters his fears to act with great courage.

It is the story of the friendship between Allan and his new neighbour Alain, who comes from Quebec. Allan learns how to overcome his fear of the dark, begins to learn a new language and, when called upon, acts heroically to save the lives of those he loves.

This volume in the Kids of Canada series shows how we can grapple with our fears and grow as a result.
