40 dayz is Motion's eagerly anticipated second book of poetry. The poems all allude to or explore the theme of "40 dayz," reflecting the literary side of Motion's artistry, while retaining the amazing power of her spoken-word style. Motion is a Toronto-based writer, musician, hip-hop artist, and spoken-word poet. Her first collection of poetry, Motion in Poetry (and the companion CD, The Audio Xperience), was published by Women's Press in 2002.
