MARILYN WALKER, PhD, , is an author and university professor of anthropology, and founding member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners. Her work has been supported by national and international educational institutions and funding agencies. She currently offers workshops on Shamanism, energy medicine, and reiki at her home in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia.
