The Clio Collective

The Clio Collective comprises four historians who have tried to write history in a different way. Micheline Dumont has taught women's history at the University of Sherbrooke since 1970. Michèle Jean is a specialist in adult education and is presently an assistant deputy minister in Quebec's Ministère de la Main-d`oeuvre et de la Sécurité du revenu. Marie Lavigne is the director of the Regional Offices, Quebec Minstry of Cultural Affairs. Jennifer Stoddart was at the time of writing a research director for the Canadian Advisory Council on the Status of Women. She is currently the director of investigation for the Quebec Human Rights Commission.
