Rowland Smith
Rowland Smith is a professor of English and Vice-President:Academic at Wilfrid Laurier University. He came to Laurier from Dalhousie University where he was McCulloch Professor in English, a former chair of English, and dean of Arts and Social Sciences. He is immediate past president of the Canadian Association for Commonwealth Language and Literature Studies. Widely published, he has lectured on five continents and is a strong advocate of international education.
