Ayoub Sinano

Christian Ayoub Sinano was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1927, and was educated in that city. From 1950 to 1959 he lived in Paris, France, where he devoted himself to the composition of poetry and fiction. During this period he published his novel, Artagal(Buchet-Chastel [Correa]Paris). For the next ten years he travelled widely in the eastern Mediterranean and lived in Lebanon as well as in Egypt. 1964 saw the publication of his second book, Pola de Pera (Julliard, Paris), a collection of poems and short fictions. He came to Canada in 1969.
