Robin Short
Robin Short has written sports for the St. Johns Telegram since 1985. During that time, hes covered numerous noteworthy events, including the Brad Gushue team's win at the 1991 world junior curling championship in Ogden, Utah in 1991 and its victory in the 2005 Olympic Curling Trials in Halifax. The pinnacle was watching Gushue and Co. win Olympic gold at the 2006 Turin Winter Games. Robin has written for an array of newspapers and is currently a regular contributer to The Hockey News. He had a column entitled What hockey is all about published in Trent Frayne's All-Stars: An Anthology of Canadas Best Sports Writing (1996). He is a 2003 winner of the Atlantic Journalism Award for sports writing. Robin and his wife, Kimberly, are the proud parents of a son, Cameron.
