"Take the picture first; then worry about identification and safety later" is Dennis Schmidt's motto for photographing wildlife. Dennis met his wife Esther at a time in life when most people are beginning to anticipate a comfortable retirement. His pictures tell us clearly that he has both a concern for the cause of wildlife conservation and what is meant by "professional photography".
