Helen Peters is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland. She earned her doctorate from the University of Oxford and has taught English literature at the University of Ottawa and Memorial University. She has played a role in the Newfoundland and Labrador performing arts community through service on the Board of Directors of the Resource Centre for the Arts.
