Vanessa Paschakarnis is a German-Canadian artist who holds degrees from the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Halifax. She taught as Professor of Sculpture at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and the University of Georgia's Campus in Cortona, Italy. She exhibits internationally and has works in various collections, most notably the National Gallery of Canada.
