Chantal Nadeau is originally from Montreal and is now Professor and Chair of the Department of Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, IL. She is the author of Fur Nation: From the Beaver to Brigitte Bardot (Routledge, 2001).
