Kim Mayberry lives, works, writes and plays in Canmore, Alberta, with her husband, Kevin, and dog Denali. She freelances for local newspapers and magazines. Kim enjoys the beauty of the mountains but sometimes misses the wide prairie skies over the farm outside of Red Deer, Alberta, where she grew up.
