Jane Lytton Gooch teaches in the English department at the University of British Columbia. Her enjoyment of hiking in the Rockies and a lifelong interest in art and letters come together in this book. A resident of Vancouver, she is a graduate of UBC and has a doctorate in Renaissance drama from the University of Toronto. Jane is also the author of Mount Assiniboine: Images in Art (Rocky Mountain Books, 2007) and Artists of the Rockies: Inspiration of Lake Ohara (Alpine Club of Canada, 2003).
