Nancy Knickerbocker
Nancy Knickerbocker began her career as an award winning journalist, covering a wide range of news and feature stories on immigration, multiculturalism, human rights and education for the Vancouver Sun. As a freelance writer she has also contributed to a wide variety of books, periodicals and studies concentrating particularly on multicultural issues, and is a member of the Canadian Committee to Protect Journalists and Amnesty International. She is currently the Media Relations Officer of the B.C. Teachers’ Federation. Nancy Knickerboacker’s first book is No Plaster Saint: The Life Mildred Osterhout Fahrni, published by Talonbooks.
