Deanna KentMcDonald is a mother, a teacher, and a writer who believes that the true joy of life sleeps quietly in the everyday experiences we share, and that if we listen we will be led to the stories we are meant to hear. Born in Edmonton, Alberta she has lived in the Albertan cities of Calgary, Cochrane, and St. Albert, as well as in Kelowna, British Columbia. She now resides in Grande Prairie, Alberta. West Wind, North Chatter is her first novel and will be part of NeWests Nunatak First Fiction Series.
