Eric Jensen was born in Montreal, where he graduated from Loyola College, and briefly taught high school. He joined the Jesuits in 1958. He has studied at St. Louis University and at Regis College, Toronto. He was once pastor of St. Ignatius parish in Winnipeg, and is now a spiritual director at Loyola House, Guelph, where he directs the Spiritual Exercises.
