Kathie Goggin is a member of Fredericton’s Wilmot Writers. She is grateful to her mother who read bedtime stories to her, to her grade one teacher who taught her to read phonetically, to her sisters who shared her love of reading and who helped lug home library books by wagon in the summer and by toboggan in the winter, and mostly to her daughters who sat quietly on her lap while being read to.
