PAM FREIR has written a popular weekly food column for the VictoriaTimes Colonist since 1997. Her career as a writer and creative directorin the advertising business led her to a teaching position at Simon FraserUniversity and garnered her many industry awards, including a Bronze Lion at theprestigious Cannes Festival. Pam Freir lives with her husband, Chris Bayliss, onGaliano Island in BC.
