Brian L. Forsythe was born in 1948 and was raised in the suburbs of Toronto, Canada. At the age of 18 he moved to Yorkville Village, Toronto's answer to San Francisco's Haight Ashbury district, and is considered one of Toronto's original hippies. When the sixties gave way to the seventies, Brian returned to and graduated from a local college. He dedicated his life to the education of children, working for the Toronto District School Board for close to forty years. Brian, now retired, is the father of three children, happily married to the love of his life, and living in a small town in southwestern Ontario.
