Joan Edward has followed music and art all her life. For over twenty years she has kept a journal, continuing her journals when she went to Newfoundland. Since first “discovering” it in 1988, Newfoundland has been her great inspiration. She spent several working summers there, and also a complete year (1992-93) when she gathered material for what ultimately became This is Our Place, This is Our Home.
