Chris Earle&3146;s plays include Democrats Abroad, Russell Hill, Radio :30, the twin comedies Expectation and Big Head Goes to Bed (both co–written with long–time collaborator Shari Hollett), and The Proceedings. Radio :30 received a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding new Play, a Floyd S. Chalmers Play Award, and a Canadian Comedy Award. The play has toured to the Aspen Comedy Festival and the New York Fringe, and was adapted for CBC Television’s Opening Night. Democrats Abroad toured to the New York Fringe in 2006, where it won a Fringe Excellence Award for outstanding solo show. Also an actor and director, Earle is a graduate of the theatre program at Montreal’s Dawson College. He lives in Toronto with Hollett and their two children.
