Elizabeth Diem taught community health nursing beginning in 1995 at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay and from 1997–2011 at the University of Ottawa. She is currently a community health nursing education consultant and continues to be involved in the development and promotion of the Canadian Community Health Nursing Standards.
