About
Caroline DiGiovanni
Caroline Morgan Di Giovanni was born in the baby boom years after World War II. She grew up in suburban Philadelphia, and then came to Toronto to attend St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto. She studied literature, history, and art history, and later completed a Master's degree in Drama at Tufts University near Boston. She married Alberto Di Giovanni and returned to live in Toronto, where she became part of the multicultural transformation of Canada's largest city. She has been a school board trustee and a municipal councillor, a graduate teaching assistant, and a community volunteer. She is also a writer and editor, and occasional speaker on Italian Canadian writing. Poetry and theatre have been her creative outlet all along.
